There are a number of counselling services available for all practical matters related to living in Germany, use the search engine provided by the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees to find help for amongst other:

Learning German;
Recognition of foreign degrees and qualifications;
Looking for housing and jobs;
Health insurance and healthcare; and
Pregnancy support and marital problems.

The Youth Immigration Services (Jugendmigrationsdienste) offer special assistance for youths and young adults. There are over 420 locations in Germany and they provide advice on issues including, but not limited to:

Parenting;
Childhood and youth;
The educational and vocational training system;
Career planning;
Using computers; and
Programmes for learning German.
